SO.
Welcome to this weird new chapter of my Internet life! There are way more of you than I ever expected!
I really do want to focus most of this newsletter on the Q/wellness/evangelical moms on my finsta, but given that A. it’s Thanksgiving, B. this is the first real issue, and C. I want to, let’s explore my very earliest finsta screenshots…
Enjoy this gallery of Caroline Calloway’s unhinged posts about how great her workshops ACTUALLY were!!!

As you can see, the Caroline of early 2019 was both very similar to and very different from the Caroline of 2022. She was still in love with her own genius and her own story, still unable to complete a project, still convinced she was being given an unfair portrayal by the media because she’s a WOMAN WHO DARES.
She’s also a lot more…fun? This is pre-pandemic, pre-her father’s death, pre-Natalie’s article Caroline. She wrote a LOT more. She washed her hair and changed her clothes more. She’s manic, but in a less terrifying way.
We’ll revisit Caroline in this newsletter when I feel I have something to say, but really I want to focus more on the darker side of my finsta - on the people with beliefs and ideas that are harmful on a variety of levels. Future editions will likely have more text; I’m still figuring out how to optimize Substack and its layout options.
But for this holiday weekend, maybe consider sticking a flower in your hair and charging someone $165 for a photo with you.
Thanks for reading! Forward this to a friend, if not for the Caroline content, then for this picture of my cats:
